Hi. I have never knitted before but I was told that is very easy to make one of the tube or magic scarves. I would like to start out making the scarf like the one that is about 36 inches long and you put it over each shoulder then put it around your neck. I have done a search on the web and I see that I need a loom, fun fur/yarn and a needle. Can someone please help me and tell me:
What size loom? What size and type needle? How much yarn do I need? Does anyone have easy directions? How do I do the stitches? How do I start it, end it? Is there a book I should buy? What is the least expensive place to buy the items I need?
I want to knit because I believe it will be a great therapeutic thing for me to do because I have alot of stress in my life.
