Hi all, I 'm back on netscape newsgroups now!! so much better. I gave my oldest dd my sewing machine last year. the 1940s singer my bfriend gave still is not working. so I went and got a new singer today for myself. works great. I have a box full of "vintage" material I want to use as liners for knitted and crocheted bags. and some I got a few years ago to make pillows. Now I have my knitting machine and sewing machine back in my living room, I think I got the last of the Christmas deco put away last week and made room for both machines!! now just to find time to use them. What type of knitting machine do you have?
Gail just gave me the "Ultimate Sweater Machine". Simple but will do what I want.

Congrats on your new sewing machine. I recently gave up on my "antique" and bought a new "singer" as well. I have gotten into "quilting" lately and this new machine has really helped. It's amazing how well it sews. I hope you have the same experience with yours!
