LGMS

LOL Too funny, David. But there is no competition with knit-alongs, other than with yourself.

Your LGMS *reminded* me of LSMFT (lucky strikes means fine tobacco)... but DON'S LSMFT was Linda Sloams means fun time (a girl he went to school with who was... shall we say... a hedonist before her time) LOL! Noreen

lol Noreen! *cackling*

shrink = see hedonists revealed in naughty knitting!

Actually, I'm crocheting a shrink for a neighbor, an afo (almost-finished object, I just have the straps to crochet now). I'm making it slightly different from how I was taught 32 years ago. the two granny squares are

11 rounds each, but the tenth round of both of them are not dc3 clusters but a V-stitch (which is dc1, ch1, dc1 into the same space, it's tactilly and visually pleasing). The straps will be not straight dc but alternating dc and hdc with ridges:

row 1 dc to end, ch2, turn. row 2 & even rows: hdc to end, ch3, turn. row 3 & odd rows: dc in back loop of hdc, ch2, turn.

My neighbor chose variegated green & beige yarn.

Hi David,

Now that sounds very interesting and I'll have to try that with my next granny square.
