Michael Buble fans?

Gail drug me to a Michael Buble concert. I think Gail has several of his DVDs.

He is one of the greatest showman I have have ever seen! I completely enjoyed the concert and would go again. He ran out into the audience and shook hands right in the middle of the concert.

I have always loved the blues, and listened to jazz and the standards. Starting high school in the sixties that was different. We went to New Orleans on our honeymoon.

I am definitely a Michael Buble fan now. He put on such a great show he deserves it. I do not remember the comedians name that opened the show but he is almost as good of a showman.

How many Michael Buble fans?

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

Dennis, sounds like you had a blast! I'm so happy for your discovery! Can't say I'm a fan, I lean towards George Strait..... REAL Country, not that pop crapola that's passing for Country lately. (Like he said, Murder on Music Row) JMHO, Noreen

Noreen,

I was raised on country. My father and uncle played in a country and western band in the Sterling/Rock Falls are in the 50s. I play country on my guitar and agree with you completely about most of the new country.

No I love music. I learned that from my Dad. I try to play the guitar but I really just beat it up. I got the love of blues from my Dad also, he was the best blues harmonica man I have ever heard, that is fact. He played the fiddle and mandolin in the band and what ever else they needed him to play. He did not pass his talent to me.

I remember in 1959 the lady next door calling the police asking them to come over and stop that crazy noise next door. It was in the middle of the day and the police just came over and laughed. I've heard all the old country classics many times and love them, along with a little blue grass.

I do have some old CCR and old rock in the car.

So I guess I am mainly a country and blues guy.

Most people laugh when they get in the car and look at my cd collection.

Gail was choir for years and likes some classical also, so I have it all!!!!

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

PS I can honestly say I was country when country was,nt cool.

Barbara Mandrell and George Jones would be SO proud of your PS, Dennis! Yes, I agree, I LOVE musis, I just don't appreciate cros-over, it it's POP, it's POP, if it's ROCK, it's ROCK, etc. We grew up listening to WJJD in Chicago! I listen to all genre's of music, except opera, Rap, Heavy Metal, HipHop I listen to Blues, Jazz, Country, Classical, Pop, Rock, Classic Rock, etc.... My VERY fave Classical bit is Fur Elise.... it's playing right now as I wait for Treasure Hunters to start. Hugs, Noreen
