Hi Mirjam, are you asking about an address for ordering Modular Knits? Artyarns doesn't sell their books but says to buy it at "your favorite bookstore". Amazon has it and I've seen it on the Knitpicks.com site. Personally, I'm going to wait for my library to get it.

Jan you are a smart cookie.....getting the book from the library. Half of our Guild have signed up for that book, so I would have to wait a longggg, time. Sometimes it is nice to have it in your hands. Must be said I am a book freak....LOL and impatient to boot....LOL

Considering that it isn't even listed as being on order yet at my library, I don't know how smart I am. But they are about to get a request from me. Meanwhile, I have other projects to keep me busy so I'm in no hurry to get it. I love books too and have checked out 50 to 60 knitting and crocheting books this year. I just don't have a desire to own a lot of books or anything else (no large yarn stashes here) so getting books from the library works best for me.

See I told you that you are a smart cookie, and I am right. Must say though that after my 8 week visit in Toronto, I came home with the motto......Less is better..... I have done a lot of cleaning up already. However the books will be the last to go.

The library sytems here in BC, are very good. You can indeed, via the internet access your local library and put in suggestions for new acquisitions If enough people ask for the same title, that book will be ordered. Many Islanders are also knitters and crafters, so that does help.

Yes, we have the same capability; I have used it many times and most of my requests have been ordered. I did have trouble getting them to order Opinionated Knitter. Eventually, I talked to one of the staff and it's finally showing as "in transit" so I will have it soon. There was problem getting it because it was available through their regular supplier.
