OT: hi there

Well, I see Sarah and Carol have posted an update on themselves, so I thought I'd post a quickie too.

I'm still busy going to installations for OES but I just have to share the news that I just bought a new-to-me car! I'm so excited! It's a lovely '02 burgundy red KIA Magentis LX with a V6, a mid size car. That's an Optima to you in the States. Not a spot of rust on it. I picked it up yesterday and drove it to a meeting last night about an hour away. Where I live it's pretty hilly and the road that we traveled has a lot of really sharp curves in it. The car is a beaut, hugged the curves and was just wonderful. There were 4 of us in the car and I let the one fellow drive it back home and he was quite impressed. I have decided though, that I need to lose weight on my right foot! It is a teeny bit heavy on the gas pedal. LOL

Condolences to all that have need of them, prayers for all, and congratulations to everyone for work accomplished or even started.

Hi Norma, congratulations with your new CAR! LOL! Isn't it a fantastic feeling?! Your heavy right foot... well our feet are almost ALWAYS too heavy for new cars, to my experience! Good to see that you are busy and seem to enjoy it! AUD ;-))

Hi Norma,

Oh, your new car sounds just right for you, especially for all the driving you'll be doing this year.

Hugs,

Nora

How neat for you, Norma! :o) It's always fun to get a new (to you) vehicle, isn't it?

As for the heavy foot... you were just *ahem* testing the car out to see what kind of power it has, that's all. ;o)

Peace! Gemini

Hi Norma,

Your new car sounds wonderful ! There's nothing like a red car to make you feel like a youngster again. Good luck with it !

Enjoy ,

Thanks Mirjam. I am enjoying my car immensely! LOL DH asked me when I thought the novelty of driving it would wear off, so he might have a chance to try it out. (He's actually driven it a couple of times, now)
