OMG How horrible! I'm with you both... Condemn violence and terrorism!

Why do they do what they do? - The desire for power... but that hunger for power is brought on by stupidity and deep-seated anger. Get over yourselves people... take a refreshing and relaxing swim and let all the anger float away while your eyes are closed... then open them and look at the world and people in it as your equals, your friends, your brothers and sisters; and find the goodness in everyone instead of all the things that fill you with so much hatred and anger.

To quote John Lennon - "All we are saying, is Give Peace a Chance!"

Hi Mirjam,

I was scanning the TV channels last night and saw when they showed the first report. What a terrible shame. As Tom says all the time to me, why can't the people all get along? I've told him that is what this group expresses all the time, why can't we live in peace and harmony.

Hugs,

Nora

I'm in whole hearted agreement with your sentiments Mirjam, I just can't understand (as I imagine that no sane human being can) how or why anybody would even consider such actions. There have to be better ways of resolving differences. To quote the Beatles (I can too Gem!) "All you need is love, love, Love is all you need" Love, in sorrow and sympathy for all those involved. When the moon is in the second house and Jupiter is all around then peace will guide the planet and love will be the sound... this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius...... (!!!)

If only they had been 'right', eh? Noreen who can quote, too!

*grin* Quote away... their words made a lot of sense, and still do!

I did a photo collage in school and used the title "All You Need Is Love" with pictures of starving and war-torn people, and abused animals, etc. I got 98% on it, but I didn't do it for the mark, I did it because that's how I felt and still do feel.

Erm... may I correct some of your lines above? This was actually my Mom's favorite song for quite a while (Aquarius was her sign) and I played it for her all the time, which is why I know the words so well....... :o)

When the moon is in the second house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars. This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius, age of Aquarius... Aquarius.... Aquarius.

Clarification... I, and my cousin Renee, were the FIRST EVER to have the tubes put in the eustacian tubes of the ears, which is commonplace now, but being the first ones, we had to stay out of water ENTIRELY for 3 months, yes, three months. My aunt gave in and let Renee go swimming, but her body absorbed enough water that our doc KNEW. My mom finally gave in and oh so carefully washed my hair at the two month mark, thank god, no damage was done by her doing this (the doc KNEW, though!), as Renee's swim actually cost her her hearing. Why thank you :-)

I'm a friend of Ophelia and Katherine. I stuck my head in here once and made a daft comment, whereupon I was made very welcome! What a friendly group! :-)

But gemini this is a 800 years old anger + a new one from Imperilaistic times ,,,, A cold swim won`t heal that ,, trying to talk ??????? might help a little . Doing preventative actions is best solution for now.
