Hi Nora. We had hella rain in the morning, with flash flooding west of me. I'm uphill enough from a stream that I don't have to worry about flooding, and I was home from the morning school run before it started so I didn't have to deal with the "Oh my god a raindrop" sorts of drivers we seem to breed around here. I'm glad of the rain - we're still parched from last summer and a dry winter, we need rain!

Today has been off-and-on drizzle and we've got 80% rain forecast for the next couple of days. Yay rain!

Wooly, you're not in Austin, TX by any chance, are you? What you wrote sounds just exactly like what we went through here.

I *wasn't* back from the school run yet and got caught by the "Oh my god a raindrop" sorts of drivers that we do, indeed, breed around here. By the end of the trip to the school I'd had enough, so I sat in the car and worked on a sock (always carry a project in the car!) until the rain let up a bit and I could travel home without wanting to do murder.
