I go in to the hospital at 5:00 tomorrow morning. I have to have a surgical birth, and that's scheduled for 7:00 a.m.

I am taking some crochet work with me, which actually has caused me more anxiety than having the baby. I couldn't decide which pattern(s) and yarn(s) to take. =) My husband thinks I'm bats. I just can't stand the thought of staying three days in hospital during recovery and not having something to do with my hands. The baby will be asleep most of the time, and I'm a practiced hand at crocheting or cross-stitching while a baby lies on my chest and shoulder.

Wonderful, Threnody! I hope that the littleun will co-operate and let you crochet.

Higs, Katherine

All the very best of luck ... with your knitting...lol no seriously wishing you well and we will all wait for your happy event and return...make sure someone takes some brand new baby pics for us all to croon over.. higz Cher

Threnody, I am smiling....let us know how much crocheting you got done,

Big hug

Els

Threnody, By the time you read this message, you will have had your baby. I hope all went smoothly and mother and child are doing well. Congrats in advance of your posting.
