I found you again!!!

My hard drive crashed a few weeks ago, so I've been having to read my groups through google...I couldn't remember all the names of my groups though and finally found you guys again!!! :-)

Quick update--I'm now 36 weeks pg with the twins, pretty much due any day now, since both babies (Sarah and Samuel) are around 7 pounds each now!!! Here's me from yesterday, 7 y/o Maya has been our official pg photographer, so I've got lots of pics to scrap when I get a chance. :-)

I look gigantic, LOL, but I've only gained around 30 pounds total! That's all baby, baby! Gonna try to skim the group and see how everyone is doing. Well, I hope!

Wow, I'm so glad I found you all again for my scrapping 'fix'! :-)

Thanks, M-C! :-)

God has blessed us really good with this pregnancy, I really have no complaints. :*) Once things start to happen it may be awhile before I get to update y'all, since DH doesn't do USENET groups too well. :-)

Thanks, Shannon! :-) For awhile there, about 6 weeks, I didn't gain an OUNCE, but the babies kept growing!! Just gained

5 lbs last week (I see the OB every week now) and it all seems to be going to the babies (plus a little bit of water retention/ swelling in my feet and ankles, but nothing to worry about.

I'm so relieved I finally found the group...been pretty busy getting the nursery complete, and now Maya's been out of school so she needs 'entertaining' since almost everyone on our block (including her best friends) are gone on vacation...it's too tiring on me to be out and about much, but we're hanging in there. She's been a great little helper, pretty much at my beck and call without complaint. :-)

She's also started learning how to take digital pics and she's really good at it! So I will have lots of pics to scrap once the babies get here and things settle down (she says confidently, LOL!). Still working on reorganizing my hobby room since we had to convert the study into the nursery and a lot of stuff got dumped in my HR...also rearranged Maya's room (got her a new bunkbed set and dresser since her original was a convertible crib and changing table) so that's kept us busy. She wanted a plain white bunkbed (her room is painted purple and pink with white shelves and curtains, she's getting pretty good about coordinating colors) but it was a little plain. Found some cute vinyl removable stickers at the Dollar Tree store awhile back, and let her decorate the beds--gotta say it turned out really really cute--in fact, when DH saw it, he thought we'd painted the beds! :-) But no, just added stickers. Maya's so happy with the results. I need to get her to take some pictures of it and I'll post some of them. :-)

Gotta go wake up that kid now--she's so into 'vacation mode' she'd sleep the day away if I'd let her! :-)

Welcome back Carolyn, I was wondering if you had had the babies yet. You look terrific. I'm glad that it has been an easy pregnancy. Maya is a wonderful photographer and it sounds like she is quite the decorator too.

Good luck and I hope the babies arrive soon.

Glad to see you found us again, and that everything is going great. Sounds like you will have your hands full soon enough. Make sure someone lets us know when the babies arrive.

Already teaching Maya how to post to the groups to let people know--DH will put that at the bottom of his priority list, especially now since his parents, who were supposed to come stay with us for the next 6 months (they're from India), have had to cancel their trip due to my MIL being in ICU at the hospital there and dealing with diabetes/ hypertension/kidney infection complications--her kidneys have shut down, hopefully just temporarily, so DH is going to have a LOT more on his plate than he originally planned! But by the grace of God things will work out for all of us.

Thank you, Sandy!

I'm so glad you found us again and gave us an update. You look good for someone having twins! Can't wait to see pics after their born! I hope everything goes smoothly with their birth, no complications, and that DH's mom makes a full recovery.
