Aud and Amber, how nice to hear those two names.

Otto's mother did a lot of embroidery work and we all have pieces made from Clara Waever and Eva Rosenstand patterns, by Otto's mother. Otto's Brother used to have a small embroidery store, were he sold many of the embroidery kits. He is now retired. The Clare Waever and Eva Rosenstand Patterns are just lovely.

I've only done few designers, and theirs are the best quality by far. Nice designs the patterns are easy to read, and quality fabric and floss. They are pricey but sooooooo worth it :-)

I have a feeling that both designers, were professional artists. Many kits sold today are reproductions of paintings or photographs, manipulated on the computer. When you do compare these with Clara's and Eva's designs the differences are very obvious. They are indeed very costly, but maybe that is part of what sets them apart from other embroidery designers. Quality...LOL

enjoy your stitching.

Very well put, I totally agree, that's why I gladly pay. Quality stuff.

Hehe. I rarely take my finished pieces out of the house, but if I really want to impress someone with my stitching and photos don't do it justice, Copenhagen always goes with me.
