I have used the sweater wizard. Being an old Cobol programmer in the main-frame. I say the program "Sweater Wizard" need to grow a little. It is not for the beginner. It leaves a lot to the imagination. I takes for granted that you at the intermediate level when reading knitting instructions and reading charts.
It is great if you do not want to take the time to lay out the knitting instructions and charts your self.
The book that Noreen was talking about several days ago "Knit the Old Way" would suffice and cost the same or less. It is very rewarding to lay out a sweater from scratch. Getting the to the book, doing it the old way before the patterns came to be so many.
I hope I have not missed any special days. Just a few days and you have hundreds of posts to read.
