Threads and other things

I will be posting the June threads partners (hopefully) Monday sometime. So if there are any others that want in, I will check then. DH's mom is in the hospital with a stroke and we are heading down there tomorrow for the weekend. They think she will be ok, at this point. She is affected on her right side, and can't walk, but she can speak and swallow. If things go well, they will get her into rehab next week sometime.

This blasted computer is going back into the shop again for the third time this week. The stupid thing keeps rebooting at the most inoportune times, with no warning. and now it's also back to freezing up when you least expect it. This has been going on for quite some time now, and it's getting just a little boring. That's why I said "Hopefully" I will put the list up on Monday.

Norma, Prayers and positive thoughts for your mom-in-law. Shaking fist at your PC, and threatening it with all kinds of bad things if it doesn't BEHAVE, lol Hugs, Noreen

Norma,

I am sorry to hear about your mother in Law, that is sad news. I hope she will have a good recovery.

Even though I am not on the tread exchange list. Don't worry about it, I am sure everyone is willing to wait for it. Slow down and you also have my permission to jump up and down on your computer.....Tell it who is boss....LOL

Norma, I am so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law's stroke. While it is frightening and frustrating not to be able to move like she used to, therapy will do wonders... and they do try to get them started on therapy as soon as possible so they can rebuild strength. Good that the stroke hasn't affected her speech and swallowing, she will still be able to communicate, and eat to keep her strength up.

Fingers crossed that your computer will be up and running smoothly again soon.

*hugs* Gem

*sigh* Of course I thought I had typed in the last post that I will be sending out prayers and positive thoughts for your mother-in-law, but I hit "send" before I re-read it.

Norma, I'm sorry to hear about your MIL's stroke. I hope you find her in good spirits and starting to get better when you see her. Please don't be concerned if you have to delay posting the partner list. Have a safe trip.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on my dear MIL. She is doing pretty well. She has some numbness in her faace, and her right arm is 'dead' but she is getting some movement back in her leg. So things are improving I think. I also think that one of the luckiest things aabou this is that she started to haaave this after she woke up and got up in the morning. They got to the hospital within in a short time. I think maybe if it had happened when she was still asleep, that it could have been far worse.

Hi Norma,

I've just read this subject and I'll be sending prayers for your MIL. Now days they can do wonders with stroke patients. Our dear neighbor for our other house had one last year and she is still coming along really well. She has finally started to walk on her own with the walker and her right hand has a little trember.

Now, I hope you can get the computer fixed as it's tough being without one.We all need our daily fix.

Hugs,

Nora

Thanks Nora, MIL is starting to come along. You mentioned your neighbour with the tremor. MIL had one already that they at first thought might be Parkinson's, although now they aren't so sure. We will be going down to see her again this weekend.

Well, you can see that I got my computer back, again. They once again couldn't find anything wrong. The d*&n thing won't do it when it's there! Just like going to the docs you feel fine when you get there. snort! It's only done it a couple of times since coming home. But of course I lost everything just about! And really, I do need this thing now that I'm DDGM at "Star" I will be using it continually now.
