What's everyone working on?

I'm on a moebious 'kick' again, using up yarns that no longer appeal as socks or shawls! Hugs, Noreen

I am making tuck-in-scarves and caps for the homeless in our area. The prayer shawl I made for our group is in use and I will start another soon.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

+I am working on socks for my sisters birthday. I am late- her birthday was in July. Oh well, she still owes me a lunch and movie for my birthday this past February. LOL. I am planning on knitting lots of baby sweaters, booties etc. since my DH and recently found out that our oldest daughter and her DH are going to be parents! This will be our first grandchild. We are so excited!!! +Marilyn

I'm working on Elizabeth Zimmerman's "Pi Shawl" and loving it. I took a lace knitting class on Thursday, August 7th, and had a great time! I learned Emily Ocker's circular cast on, which is a method of starting the center with a crochet hook. It was easy and looks super. I've completed the increases to 144 stitches, and finished the first section of lace. Today I get to cast on to 288, and can hardly wait to start the lace pattern. Oh, and I made myself some beaded stitch markers, they look so pretty dangling off the work.

Thanks for all the encouragement I received from the group prior to the class.

take care, Linda D. in B.C., Canada
