Scan2Sew

Does anyone know if it is possible to get hold of file filters (or something) so that Scan2Sew will save its files into a different format? Scan2Sew can save in DST and PXP format, I have not been able to find any software that will convert from the PXP format, which seems a bit strange!

Can anyone help me with Scan2Sew?

Thanks in advance.

No, it is not possible.

I believe that PXP is a "design" format rather than a "stitch" format. These are usually formats useful only to the program that created them - Viking has .CAN files and there are others. The new Autodigitizing program from Inspire also uses that file extension (I don't know whether it's the same format).

Scan2Sew is no longer available - it's been incorporated into Origins, which can output a much wider variety of formats.

To convert your DST files into whatever your particular machine needs (pes, hus, jef, etc.) you need additional software such as BuzzTools, BuzzExplore, Embird, Vikings File Converter, or many others (if you have your machine's dedicated software it may also accept .dst files).

The one exception is .ART files. The only current software that can output these is Artista.

Herb, can you direct me to a site to look at the Inspire digitizing program? When I google I keep getting sign-making software.

Thanks, Iris

It's not "Inspire" but "Inspira" - I spelled it wrong .. The website is:

(For fun, I just tried googling for only the word "autodigitizing" andit brought up that one first!) - Herb

What does this program cost, US funds? I called two places and they won't give that info over the phone.......this usually means it's going to cost an arm and leg.
