build an annealing oven?

I searched Google for this, no luck, can somebody point me to a site that shows how to build an annealing oven? I am a newbie glass blower, and just need a small one, I don't even know what temperatures they go up to and how long....thanks for any help

If annealing only, about 1000F is tops and you can get away with electricdryer elements instead of the higher temp Kanthal A-1 or equivalent to fuseand sag glass.

Thanks, that's a lot of good info, now to build up my tool collection, now I am using a propane cutting torch tip to work with, works well, I think. Anybody want to get rid of tools, pliers etc? I can pay with paypal or personal check. Thanks.... R. Hamm -=(RH)=- ²°°³
