Tomorrow I am going to have cataract surgery. According to the stuff I have read and have been told, cataract surgery is one of the most successful forms of surgery out there. It should also greatly enhance the visual acuity in my right eye.
That is if all goes well. I am told there is a 99% percent chance of all going well. However, that other 1% is making me a bit nervous right now.

Brian, all I know is that my mom and both of my husband's parents had catar= act surgery and all three were thrilled. No complications for any of them. = Worries before medical procedures are natural. Let us all know how the proc= edure goes and keep us posted about your vision. I'm betting that very soon= you will be among the pleased recipients of cataract 'fix' surgery.
Not to worry, Brian. DH had both his eyes done last year (he has diabetes) and it was wonderful for him. He wears contacts so he had one eye done in early June and the other done in mid September. He had no problems at all and improved his eyesight greatly! You'll do great so try not to think about that 1%. Do keep us posted on everything, OK? CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Best of luck! Mum mum and grandma had it done, and both benefited greatly. Both said it was easy, too, Mum's only complaint was that the theater was chilly!
