I have an electric hobbycraft kiln with a basic program controller. I can't seem to find any information about the correct timings/temperature increases for glaze firings. For example, firing to cone 06 - how quickly should the kiln reach its top temperature, how long should it stay there, etc. I've got quite a few books on pottery which tell you how to glaze and how to stack pots in a kiln, but don't seem to have the information I need - any help much appreciated.

OK I do somewhat different to this, I increase by 150C, 300F until it is
300C, 570F then go flat out (as quickly as kiln will go), till I reach temp. I soak for half an hour, a longer soak reduces the risk of pinholing.
