Basic kiln questions

I have an electric hobbycraft kiln with a basic program controller. I can't seem to find any information about the correct timings/temperature increases for glaze firings. For example, firing to cone 06 - how quickly should the kiln reach its top temperature, how long should it stay there, etc. I've got quite a few books on pottery which tell you how to glaze and how to stack pots in a kiln, but don't seem to have the information I need - any help much appreciated.

OK I do somewhat different to this, I increase by 150C, 300F until it is

300C, 570F then go flat out (as quickly as kiln will go), till I reach temp. I soak for half an hour, a longer soak reduces the risk of pinholing. You should have cones in your firings to check that your kiln is firing properly, have them bottom, middle and top so that you can see how evenly your kiln fires.
