Hi, I haven't posted here for awhile but glad to be back. My sister is looking for a pattern for a quilt made from neckties. Anyone have a pattern? She saw it in a magazine and now can't find it. Thanks, Linda in Wisconsin

I think the one she might be referring to is in Quiltmaker's All-Time Favorites, Fall 2000 issue. It's called Retiring the Ties....it is paper-pieced shirts and ties with bow ties around the border. Maybe you can get a back issue from

If all else fails try an Indian Braid or a Dresden Plate pattern. Both are suited to using ties.
