Hi - newbie here!

Dec 10, 2004 9 Replies

I posted here a few times a little over a year ago, when I was pregnant with my twins. Well, they're now 14 months old and I finally have time to return to my scrapbooking! My name is Elissa, and I live in Alpharetta, Georgia with my husband and three kids - twins Jake and Josh, and our 4 year-old daughter Becky. I've been here in Georgia for a year and a half and am originally from New York City. I started scrapping when I moved here and am completely addicted. My favorite things are embellishments and patterned paper.

I'd like to learn how to sew on my pages and how to use chalks, and I'm also interested in heat-embossing to add more dimension to my pages.

I'm thrilled to be able to return to the group...can't wait to get to know all of you!

and see some of what we have been up to in the last year.

Welcome, Elissa. I hope you really love this group as much as I do. I've learned so much from everyone in the last 7 months. I bet it is crazy with twins so young. I have a 8 and 4 year old. I'm with you. I would like to also learn to sew on pages. I have asked for Christmas one of those hand held portable sewing gadgets. So hopefully I will get one. If not I might have to go get one myself.

Welcome back Elissa! No wonder you haven't had time to do any scrapping. Life can be hectic with just one new baby, but twins, WOW! :-)

Welcome back!! Sounds like you have your hands full and having lots of fun scrapbooking :)

You know, Elissa, I remember you!! I have kin folks in Roswell Ga. Happy that you are back scrapping and just know you have many pix of those little darliln' kids.

Welcome back Elissa. Sounds like you have been really busy with the kids. I have just started experimenting with heat embossing with some mixed results. Sewing and chalking has been easier for me to do.

Hi Elissa! :)

Welcome back and belated congrats on the twins! Nice to have you here. I have'nt tried chalking yet, but I've heard that the best way to make it "stick" is to use hairspray! Befor you add the phodies of course :))

Looks like we have another paper floozey!!!! Glad you could rejoin us Elissa.

Glad to see you made it back to us Elissa!
