Newbie here!

I first learned about RCTN thru recently reading Monica Ferris books! They are terrific! I am looking forward to reading her latest one that comes out this summer!

I have been married to my husband David since August 1994. We live in Owego NY and have a total of 6 kids between us! Stepsons Dan 24, a college graduate and now lives and works as a mechanical engineer in Albany NY, Jacob 18, a senior in high school who plays soccer and track and will be attending college in the fall majoring in math/ computer engineering, stepdaughters Laura 21 living and working in the area, Carla 19 a sophomore in college majoring in nursing and my two daughters Jocellyn 19 a freshman in college majoring in broadcasting and Heather 15, a freshman in high school. And of course I can't forget my kitty cat Sade. And believe it or not, they ALL lived with us! Now that they are all growing up, they are slowly but surely moving out, which will give us more time to go up to our cottage that we purchased 3 years ago on Lake Ontario and plan on fixing it up and retiring there one day! And maybe have a stitcher's retreat there one day too!

In my spare time, LOL I love to cross-stitch and needlepoint. My most favoritest hobby is cross stitch/needlepoint. If interested, here is a link to some projects I have done over the past 20+ years.

Welcome to the gang, Colleen. It seems a little quiet here now; I think most of the folk are out in their yards (garden for the UK), getting dirt under their nails, as the growing season is getting started.

You are a busy lady, with all the children, and a job, and finding time to stitch so much. It makes me feel totally lazy! maybe I shall sit down and put in a few stitches while I am in the mood!

Welcom, Colleen,

wow, such a busy life and still spare time. I have trouble at the moment keeping up with my designing, stitching and working.

It's a great place to be here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Happy stitching Sibille
