My 96 year old mother couldn't relate to my cell phone. She could not figure out how to hold it and talk or listen even if I held it up to her ear. Putting it on speaker phone confused her too because she didn't know where the sound was coming from and sometimes thought the people were in the room. Yesterday I found a standard old fashion shaped hand set that plugs into the cell phone where ear phones would go. Now she thinks I have a pretty new bright green telephone and we can take advantage of the week end free long distance to call her sisters!
