New Member Intro

Hi Monique and welcome to RCS. I believe that you will enjoy this group. We have a wonderful group of talented people from all over the world who love to share their work. I usually post a monthly challenge and we do have swaps that our "regular members are welcome to participate in. From time to time we will also have a contest, with a winner. Of course the challenges are open to everyone! Because this is actually a newsgroup that you can "access" through google groups but can also get through directly via a newsreader such as outlook express if your provider has a newsreader , there is no real monitoring here. So we have a few things that we all do to avoid chaos. We all try to show our best qualities and bigger than anything to keep it a happy place for all, we never ever respond to people that try to get our attention through inappropriate postings. I personally warn advertizers to go read our rules and go post their ads on alt.crafts.scrapbooks and for the most part we do well.

where you can see our FAQs and learn more about us under the Meet US heading. I'm in the process of updating the website, though it may be a few weeks to the unveiling. We have a number of regular members, those that post at least 2-3 times a week over a three month period are considered "regulars. We also a lot of lurkers that simply enjoy reading the group.

Welcome Monique!!! Where in MD? One of our long time, albeit absent for life issues now for a spell, Tazzmedazz is from Cumberland. She knows EVERY lss and store in the tri-state area where any scrapping stuff can be had - LOL!!! She is also a terrible enabler and got me hooked on a un-nameble store in Cumberland that I JUST HAVE to go to when I get that way!!

Hey, M-C,

Just wanted to let you know that I got the bind-it-all on Friday, haven't had a chance to play with it yet because Friday was very busy , then yesterday Maya had a birthday party to attend and we got in a fender bender on the way, then the rest of the day was busy too and then my computer crashed (got it working now, obviously)--got some errands to run this afternoon but I am determined to play with the darn thing before the weekend is over, LOL! :-)
