Charmaine,

You have just joined one of the best groups on the internet.

We are known for our block exchange and thread exchange. You will now find a group that can give better answers on spinning, crochet, and knitting. With many experts in several other crafts.

This is the kindest and sweetes group we belong to.

Hugs & God bless,

Dennis & Gail

Hi Cahrmaine, welcome to the group. This group is really good at answering questions or helping with pattern problems. Other than that, we do tend to have friendly "conversations" - not always about yarn. When they are off topic, we try to put OT before the new topic name so folks can avoid downloading them if they wish.

While pictures can't be put on the group, links that will lead to albums on other sites (like Yahoo) are often used to show projects. We love to see the results of other people's efforts.

Hi Charmaine, welcome to the RCTY family! In no time at all you will begin to feel like part of the family yourself. :o)

If you would like to see what *some* of the people look like, you can check them out on the RCTY Photo album by clicking on the URL following my signature. If you would like to have your picture added, just send me a jpg picture to gemsawriter AT yahoo DOT ca with "RCTY Photos" in the subject line, and the name you use on here in the body of the message and I will be happy to add your picture.

Hello Georgia, sorry for my late reply. I both knit and crochet, and am learning to spin. I've just finished a pair of socks for myself - the first pair I've made just for me!! lol Charmaine

Okay...I'm all covered for the tea and/or coffee...also got the threads, both knitting AND crocheting, with needles and hooks, got a BIG box of smiles, and ready for action. What is on my needles?!?! Hmm..I think I'll just list the most recent. I've just cast on the Three-Scarf Rhuana, from Sally Melville's 'Book 1: The Knit Stitch'. I've got other things going - both knitting AND crocheting, but won't admit to what they are. lol Charmaine

Not mentioning what they are gets curiosities up you know! LOL

Oh yeah, and I forgot to say... when my curiosity gets up (about unmentionables), my mind tends to lean toward the gutter a little. So.... are you making 'naughty' items? LOL See... you brought it on yourself. Do you feel like part of the family yet? hehehe
