I subscribe to several newsgroups where certain questions seem to come up regularly and sometimes there are, shall we say, pointed responses regarding the seemingly endless raising of the same question. I don't normally read this group so I apologize if this is the case with the request for photo printer recommendations.
My daughter is an avid scrapbooker and has expressed a desire for a photo printer that will allow her immediate results and more control over final product. It's something we are considering getting her for her birthday but, while I love her layouts, I don't know enough about the process of getting the right pics to understand what would make a good printer (as well as reasonable ongoing operating costs).
I was wondering if the folks here have any opinions on good printers for scrapbookers. I find that in some of my other newsgroups when you ask questions like "what's the best...." you invariably get more opinions than people :)
