knitters are happy

Knitters are happy ,,, so tells me a woman i meet somewhere ,,, asking why she explains ,,, that At least you DO something , in this world ,,, i ask her what she knits ??? she doesn`t ??????????????????????????? "i am not a happy person she says ,, !!!!"

And she hasn't bothered to learn how to knit? or develop another interest/hobby? Sadly, there are many like her in the world.

I was so surprised ,, ps offered her to TEACH her knitting , she didn`t feel for it ,,, so ?????????????????????went happily back to my knitting mirjam

I ALWAYS take some handwork to meetings. Knitting, crochet, embroidery (not the complicated stuff where I might get lost, something fairly simple.) If questioned, I tell them that this is so that at least SOMETHING gets accomplished at the meeting!

Poor woman, she sounds depressed. All you can do is offer, and be an example. I hope she gets help.
