Breadmaker: Panasonic or Breville

Hi All,

Our three year old Breville BB270 is worn out. The kneader lost its coating and the seal on the bottom of the pan is leaking. We thought to buy another Breville because we always had Breville. Looking around I noticed a number of people mentioning Panasonic as more reliable and of better quality. Has anyone experience with both brands? We are pending between BB420 and SD-253.

Hi Peter, I have been using the Panasonic SD-250 for the past 5 years, and I never experienced any problems with it,I think it's great. I can't comment on the Breville,never owned one. Panasonic are good products in my opinion. Cheers, Anthony.
