I just received two old (1940s) tart cutters and they appear to be made from aluminum. I want to use them but would like to clean them first. They have been in storage in a kitchen and not used for 30+ years. The aluminum is very dark now.
What can I use to clean these? I want to make sure they are clean for food use and secondarily like them shiny again although the color is less important.
