Does anyone know if this is the same as the canned almond paste?
I bought some last week intending to make amaretti. The batter came out extremely runny, not at all suitable for piping. The recipe I'm using called for 8 oz of almond paste, 1/2 to 1 cup of icing sugar and
2 egg whites.
