AD: A few new focals up - Tink

I've been playing with my new torch and having a blast! Lots of organics here, including lozenges, hollows and tapered beads. Working hard to get things made for the start of my public art project, which begins February 1. This is the kind of thing I'm making for distribution, as I have always found this style bead to be nearly universally enjoyed...

Thanks for peeking!

I REALLY love Grounded. It's so good to see a real female figure with lots of curves and a tummy! She's beautiful!

Thanks! Drool rools! LOL!

I just strung up 100+ lampwork beads. It's about a 5' strand. Thought I would offer it on my site before messing with eBay. Still need to get some pics taken. There's a little of everything in there, including designs that would suggest I was on crack. LOL! If an RCB person ends up buying it from my site, I'll be offering some cool extras for free! So keep an eye on my latest.htm page.

As I was trying to take my most recent batch of pictures, it occurred to me that it was time to make a clean sweep and empty the bead drawers. There's no way I would ever get around to taking pictures of all of these individually.

And I've discovered something interesting as I've strung these up: No matter how good a bead is, if I don't photograph it within about 24 hours of making it, it goes into the little drawers and never again sees the light of day. Weird, huh?

I do the little drawer thing too. I don't like taking digital photos, but I need to if I'm going to get them on eBay. I swear I'm building a dark room in my next house. I love my 35mm and medium format cameras.

I used to work at Picture People, and we used a medium format camera there, I love them. Not much experience with any others, not even 35mm (other than cheapy $20 cameras/etc), but I like working with the medium format.

Wish they weren't expensive to develop (and I don't have my contacts at the Picture People anymore, that I could just print, LOL!).

Yeah, that's one bad thing about 35mm and medium format. However, I think they still blow the socks off digital.

Oh, a Barracuda! How do you like it? I'm finding that I like to use my Minor with two concentrators most of the time, and I was thinking about getting a Barracuda for a second torch. Or maybe a Lynx... not sure which! You have both, don't you?

OMG OMG OMG The Barracuda totally rocks! I have packed my Lynx away, as the Barracuda does all that and then some!

I am so in love with this torch that I am going to be selling them. LOL! Nothing else. Just the torch. It is AWESOME!

This cracks me up, because I have the enormous stack of "prototypes" on my workbench that someday are going to be part of a set, just as soon as I get to them... and then the next step is that I decide they aren't as urgent as some of my newer prototypes, so they go into a little dish next to my computer until I can get to them. HA HA HA! I might as well put a miniature yellow tape with the word "CONDEMNED" around the dish.
