Show and Tell - Tink

I've been spending a lot of time lately organizing and cleaning and sorting. Too much time, in fact. LOL! I've been fighting a lack of focus at the torch, so I took one evening and decided to tackle the issue.

I limited myself to a three color palette, including a color I never use (pink) just to see what would happen. What happened was a far cry from the organics I do so much. These are very much like my "Gadget" beads from over a year ago.

Anyway, I had fun, and wanted to share...

I love that black, white, and pink set. I'm pushing myself to use pink these days as well. Bravo Tink!

Well, it was a good exercise for me. I'm still more of a focal kind of grrl. Doing a set like that isn't something I would want to try every day. I give Kandice and others a lot of credit to be able to do that.

Thanks, guys!

I love those, Tink. And I love how they work as a set, while each of them is different.

Thanks, guys... I still prefer sets of no more than five, but it was kinda fun doing these.

Nice! Very retro. But what I really like is the pink one with the green at the bottom. It just screams Spring! to me. If you ever have a spare of that one, you know where I live! Barbara Dream Master

You caught me uploading my new pics. LOL! That one has a nice story... I kind of hooked up with a fuser who lives in California waaaay back when I first got my HotHead torch. She sold me a HUGE box of glass pieces that were her 'trimmings' from major pieces she did. I got this little bundle of glass with pretty pink and green and fabulous dichro swirled throughout, and had forgotten about it until I reorganized my glass.

I really like it, and think it makes stunning beads!

Thanks!

Tink -- my browswer refused to find your site. LOL -- God saving me again! I will check it out later.

For all of you lampworkers in Ohio, it is only $165 to fly from Cols to LA right now, round trip. It is 60 degrees during the day and I have a nice, clean cement-floored well-ventilated garage to torch in during the day. Hint hint
