Corina's Latest Challenge

I saw your bead on there today. I think it's stunning. Wish my hollow hearts looked like that. Then I wish I had been able to purchase it before someone else did. hehehe However, I'm just in awe of my pink set.

I've had an abysmal few days at the torch. Mainly because of Demon Boro. I love the color you can get, but as far as basic boro beads go... I gotta confess: They all look the same to me no matter who made them. By basic I mean make your color combo cane, lay down the core, wrap with the cane, then encase. I love what Mary Ann Williams does with boro, but that is by NO MEANS basic. LOL!

So back to Effetre for me this week. I've been doing far too much of the business end of things and not enough of the torchin' end. I sold my Red Max (gasp!) and bought a Barracuda, which should arrive tomorrow. Now if THAT doesn't inspire me, NOTHING will. Heheheheh!

I really do like that hollow that I have up on Corina's site, but I'm not really much of a heart grrl. As much as I think I would *like* to be. I'm going to try some other shapes in the same style as that heart, but more amorphous... ethereal. I just need to think of some other good color combos. Colors that fade well into one another like the purple and teal did on the heart.

I'm thinking red to orange and maybe blue to green? I need to get a color wheel. LMAO

Tink, This heart you done for the challenge is MAGNIFICA !! I'm not a very heart freak neither, but I just love the frost look and the colors !

I've sent mine too for the challenge late tonight, it's my first time also, good thing it's a drawing, that way begginer's like me are encouraged to participate and practice more ...

I wish one day I'll succed at hollowwwwws ... hihih

Thanks, Patti! I really want to do some more hollows in that vein. Fired up the new Barracuda tonight with every intention of doing just that. We'll see how it goes.

I don't like hearts, either, though I seem to be obsessed with making one that doesn't look like a butt.
