Ooooh those are pretty! I'm gonna make a suggestion though....grab your photo software and nudge the brightness/contrast settings a little. Most pix "au naturele" come out a little underexposed, but I personally believe you can tweak them a little if all you're doing is correcting the light to make the colors look more accurate.

May I ask which lentil shaper you're using???

Absolutely gorgeous beads! I want to second KarenK's suggestion on the photos, though. They look kind of dark to me. Of course everybody sees different things because of different monitors, different resolutions, etc., so you're not going to please everybody. But, hey! It might be fun trying!

I tweet the photos in Photoshop and they look fab... after I upload them they look dull.. ARGH!!!!

That's because eBay's picture services are awful. My suggestion would be to house the pics somewhere else. Picturetrail is decent, and free. I use my web server that I have my web pages hosted on. That will help tremendously when showing pics on auctions.

I am using my personal web page to host the pictures... not ebay.

Ooooohhhhh. Well, hmmmm. Are you compressing them too much when you save them? That's the only other thing I can think of that might be the culprit.

Hey, Nicole, I was surfing today and found a few good sites (for you and anyone else) to check monitor calibration. I was thinking maybe your monitor is set a little bright so your pix are coming out too dark. It's a thought, anyway.

I have the same issues, fighting with each picture, but yours were good enough for me to say I wish I had found this post earlier. I loved the leopard print ones! Good work! Greta

Greta,

There will be more beads during the week. I hope to get to the torch tonight and make a few more sets for auction. I will post when I have listed them...
