Well I got a new one last night - on the inside of my right upper arm.

How you may ask did I do that?

The torch was off and I was leaning forward to pick glass colors and hit the torch head (um still hot) with my arm. Sigh.

But I do have new beads - and a few I really like. Pictures later!!

This is probably the primary reason I am NOT tempted to get into lampwork! Though I have the utmost respect for those who do it, I'm an absolute wimp about work-related pain.

Thanks for the advice. My ex is a paramedic and we always had Silvadene in the house and everywhere else. I am also a firefighter, but haven't been working as one for a while. Usually have it on the trucks for little burns.

I have a huge aloe plant a friend gave us for a housewarming present. I'll get some. I forget about the healing qualities. When I was a kid that was the fix all.

Nah, I like ironing occasionally too... the smell of nice damp cotton being heated.. and turning something all wrinkly all smooth... and those rare times when something needs starch.. that slightly crisp feel of the fabric is a nice treat... so.. youre not weird. I asked all the other voices in my head and they say we arent weird... ok? Diana

Same here. Dug actually likes ironing though!

OK, so to which one of you Martha's addresses shall I be sending these shirts? I love cotton. I love silk. We are allergic to all the scents in dryer sheets and most laundry detergents, so we buy the "free" type, but wrinkles? Oh my dear. Now that we're older, we just say the stuff is skin tight.

Definitely a good thing. Every time I end up in the ER, and they're trying to find a vein to start an IV while I'm screaming (you would think they could at least numb the area first.....) I regret all the speed I shot up that collapsed all those wonderful veins I used to have. Barbara Dream Master
