AD: EBay - Rustired

Hey, I have a new set up on EBay - Happy Blues. My first attempt at lentils, turned out pretty well. The photo is HUGE!!!

I hate EBay's new lay out.

I like them. They have a kinda milky quality about them.

I haven't seen the new layout. Is that the picture's actual size or what eBay resized it to?

Thanks Starlia,

I'm hosting the photo on my website not thru EBay. The pic didn't seem that large in Paint Shop Pro but it's huge on EBay. I don't think EBay would make it that large.

The EBay layout I don't like is on "My EBay" page. I finally customized it a little today (delete some crap). Also for some reason I don't like their home page, it seems harder to search for stuff. It is always hard to find the block bidders list because they don't want you to use it.

Those are lovely!

The current price is a steal, too.

I do my auctions as a standard template and limit the width of the main auction page to 90% so that my pictures always fit within that portion of the page, which means the photos automatically get resized to fit on one page no matter what eBay does or the pictures look like.

Then I just copy the html and paste it in.

Hi Su, Is the standard template your using one of EBay's or one you created yourself?

Hi, Connie,

I did my own. I use FrontPage Express and just do a basic layout and then edit that template for each new auction. It saves tons of time if you do multiple listings.

If you'd like some help, drop me some email and I'll give you some pointers.

I don't have FrontPage as an editor but I can probably figure it out if I sit down and decide how I want it to look. I went to the doctor today and he agrees with me that I have mild Carpel Tunnel Syn. So I probably should lay off the computer and stuff until I get my night wrist splints. Luckily my brother runs a medical supply business so he is shipping me a whole bunch to try out. Thanks and it's TGIF tomorrow!!!!

You can still find FrontPageExpress out there on the web for free if you do a search on it. I found it a while ago, to replace the one that died when my laptop died. It used to come bundled with IE as a freebie, they've stopped that now since they sell FP as a separate program.

Good luck with the CTS. I hate having my wrist ache. I think it's probably the most common injury to people now with all the computers in our lives.
