Those are too freaking cute!!! I've never seen anything like that. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Remember, you're still grounded to your torch....10 more days?

It's about 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. It's pretty deep inside too.

Thanks you guys for the comments. I'm really having fun with these.

Sooz,

I'm blushing. Thanks! Just having fun with glass. I was thinking about doing some cactus scoops. I'm still working out the drawings though.

Oh MAN!

I'd love to see Jerri do a bunny or duck scoop. A guinea pig scoop? ~~ Sooz

That would be so cool. I've asked Nikki from NLC if she minded me making a sheep scoop. I purchased her how to sheep on eBay a few weeks ago and they came along with some wonderful instructions.

The lily scoop reminds me of a lily of the valley blossom. .. a nice harbinger of spring. Keep on with these.. what fun we are having watching you play! Diana

Hey Starlia. What about adding a loop, either to keep track of the scoop, or to wear your scoops.

Please continue to make some without loops, for people like me who would never wear anything resembling a scoop on her chest. I have ample "scoops" already.

I don't wear shirts with breast pockets, horizontal designs or cows in any form for the same reasons. I get enough harrassment as it is.

You guys are so sweet. I will continue making them without loops because I too would never be a person to wear one.

And I'm going to try some salt scoops. Sooz gave me that idea. I need some for my sugar scrubs too and those are in the kiln now.

Unfortunately, my playing tomorrow will be limited if not impossible. I found hubby outside tonight on the ground. He has dislocated his knee and we are to see the doctor first thing in the morning. I'm sure we'll be doing MRI's and the like.

Thanks everyone for all your inspiration.

Thanks Jerri. It always boosts my confidence when artists I admire like my work. Okay, walking away from the computer blushing.

My first thought had been that people might want to put it on a leash, like with scissors. But I looked at that first spotted one and thought it would make a good pendant. See I am unlikely to use a scoop, and just thought it might widen the market.
