I am particularly enamored with that white rose and blue beads. Very very beautiful!

Bunny is cute, too, but the rose, ah, that is romance!

I was going to pair it with a mauve color, but the blue just spoke to me. I'm glad I did it. My mother in law saw it and now wants me to make her one. She has commissioned several pieces for her friends and she finally wants a set.

Let me just say that they *are* hard to resist! I can see why your MIL has been such a loyal customer ;-)

I just love your pressed flowers! A fine old art form... have you ever tried preserving small ones in resin/poly/plastic (or something?) to make jewelry? My daughter bought a pendant at a local gem show with tiny roses preserved in some kind of clear product.

Hi Karleen,

I have never tried the resin. I think glass and oil paints are going to be my limits for now. Thank you for the compliments.

OOPS I meant that to go to aula! LOL I bet you were wondering how I got pressed flowers out of your LW beads!!!

I looked at her auctions at zazzle and ebay.

OF course I think your LW beads are gorgeous Starlia!

OOPS I should have prefaced this with TO AULA! (talk about hitting the send button too soon!) I was referring to your lovely pressed glass pictures & cards @ zazzle & ebay. Do you get many sales at zazzle by the way? I never heard of it before.

Not a problem. I was guessing, but that's okay.

Thanks again!

Thank you very much for the feedback and compliment! I can always use new ideas, too! I've been experimenting with resins with the flowers. So far I've had some bad results with serious color changing, but I'm not sure if I did something wrong in the process or not. I've had that experimentation on the back burner while trying to get lampshades into the mix and learn this beadpointing! If you have some ideas on the resin stuff, please do share!

Zazzle has been a serious disappointment: no sales in the three or so months we've had things up there. Ebay is also quite variable with December having been the worst month up there. I have things in a store front in Cocoa Village, Fl, and those are going reasonably well. I'm working to expand into the internet and into other store fronts [such as flower shops/boutiques] in this area as time permits. Suggestions are always welcome, particularly in the marketing aspect as that is something I have really no expertise in.
