AD: Sandstorm Set

Hi!

I wanted to remind everyone that my auctions are finishing tomorrow afternoon. I've been feeling really good lately about my work, until my husband asked me something yesterday. He asked me :How much are you getting for each of your beads?" Reasonable question right? All the sets I've been selling are going mostly for the opening bid. That means that a lot of the beads I've been doing I am getting about 2.00 each for. That is really ridiculous when you stop to think about it. Some of the mass manufactured crap I see from India goes for more than that.

Oh well, enough of that for now. Here are some links to things you might like. The sandstorm set is coming out at about 2.40 a bead right now and that doesn't include the gemstone bead extras.

Ah, shoot Juanita, how much you get per bead isn't a good measure of whether you should feel good about it! I often get less for my work when I'm in a phase of artistic growth, simply because it's different from what people have come to expect. Prices tend to increase when you do the same thing over and over again for a while, because buyers know they can reliably go to you for style X... change your style, even if it's to progress, and prices decline. If you feel good about your work, then that's your best indicator that it IS good.
