AD: ~SPIglass~ Late again, but new beadies are now listed & update

Good Morning all! :)

Well, I guess better late than never huh? LOL! I've got all the new beads up on the website and I'm in the process of adding all the detail pages...but you can go check them out now, just may not have all the individual bead pages up yet.

If you haven't already guessed, I've started putting all of my new beads every week on either Sunday evenings or Monday mornings (depending on how full my weekend gets) on my website instead of on eBay. I've decided to make this shift because I have done alot of thinking about my life as of late and came to the realization that I wasn't spending enough time with my son and family. As some of you may know, my son is speech delayed and requires lots of my attention. He had not been getting that and he was not making any progress with his communication. Making my beads available to you through my website takes considerably less time than eBay for me, so that is why I decided to make this shift. The difference in my son since I stated doing this has been nothing short of amazing! He is learning new words and sounds almost every day and I am one proud Momma! :D I hope you will continue to support me during this so that I can be at home for my son when he needs me the most. I appreciate each and every one of you immensely! Occasionally I will list beads on eBay, but most will be available on my website.

Take care all! :)

Good for you! You're right, family is very important:) I have a son who is also speech delayed, as well as dyslexic. We just moved to the U.S. because of his schooling. He is in special ed now, and has made great strides:) Also, your beads are just fabulous! cindy

Hi Paulette! Kudos to you for making the shift and being there for your son. And that is so awesome that he is already responding to the changes. They way I look at it is that when you choose to have child, and you want the best for your child, there are just a lot of sacrifices that need to be made. But it is temporary, and when they are old enough for school, hopefully you get some of your former life back. I too have made tremendous sacrifices to be with my son. I had to withdraw from graduate school when I found out I was pregnant and figure out a way to make money while taking care of my son. I nanny part-time (and take Aidan with me) and run the eBay thing. My boyfriend and I are building a website where we are going to sell local artisans beads and jewelry (and hopefully my own as well). I want to pull away from eBay completely within the next couple of months too. It's a pain, and I'm over it. I think you are doing the right thing and everything will work out the way it's meant to be. Good Luck and Take Care!! Jesse
