Does anyone know of any upcoming bead shows in the Central Texas area? I know of some in November, but is there anything else sooner? San Antonio is a fairly easy drive, but I'm willing to drive to Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, or Corpus Christi.

Intergem is in Dallas Oct. 3-5 and in Houston Oct. 10-12. Normally I go to the Houston show, but this time I may have to drive up to Dallas -- we're looking at a con in Iowa the weekend of the Houston show.

What is Beadstuff in Austin? I haven't heard about it before. Is it a shop? The only bead shop I've seen in Austin is Nomadic Notions. I love to take classes, but they are pretty expensive to purchase beads from.

Beadstuff doesn't have a retail store -- they mostly do shows -- but Pam will let you make an appointment to see stuff in her home. She's considerably cheaper than Nomadic Notions! Glass beads, seed beads, supplies and findings, and some gemstone beads too.
