Ive been reading about the upcoming Texas Turns event and was wondering if the Houston area has such an event? I live in central Louisiana and Houston is much closer. Considering the only turner i have found near here isnt the friendliest of folks I would really like to watch, talk and chat with any turners.... If you know of any upcoming events closer or perhaps in sept or oct. please let me know... thanks,

Rusty, I think Louisana is included , thus the Name SouthWest Area Turners (SWAT). James Johnson came up or helped come up with this in order to include the surrounding States. Therefor, there may well be clubs from La. represented there this year. I know Larry Degender the chairman this year would know!
