Charolite Pendant and a little of Spike too!

A friend called me from a gem and mineral show a few weeks ago. She'd fallen in love with some cabs and wanted to know if she bought them, would I do something with them?

The first one I tackled is the smallest of the batch, so I chose a simple wiring for it. I REALLY like this one:

And for all Spike's buddies, he had a ball on Christmas. He wanted to help everyone open their gifts. He didn't care about the presents, but loved pulling off the paper. Finally, he got his own present and went to town:

I'd found a huge fleecy toy for him, and he's had a ball with it. We had company for Christmas, and every time someone new showed up, he ran and got his toy to show them. What a ham! Jerri

Love the pendant! As always, your work makes me drooooooool.

Spike is such a character! His antics make me laugh.

Michael got his first RC airplane for Christmas..... a B-2 bomber from his grandparents. He immediately asked if we could head down to Atlanta, so that he could learn from the master, oh, and I could bring my bead stuff along too. It is so nice when the younger generation remembers to include us old parent types into the equation. LOL!

Hi, Jerri, Love the pendant! Charoite is one of my favorite stones. Spike stories are so cute, they always make me laugh. My son and his girlfriend are sort of taking a break - maybe permanent, maybe not, right now, so I don't get to see her Westie puppy any more. I cannot believe how much I miss that dog. I saw a Westie calendar yesterday at Barnes and Noble and almost started crying. I miss her, too, but there's something about a wiggily puppy who is so enthusiastic about everything....maybe it's just the time of year. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! Lou bought me the ruby and diamond hoop earrings I was coveting, so I'm happy. I'm going to be doing a lot more glass in January and updating the website, so I'll be posting more. Love to all,

Patti

Thanks, Katie!!

We'd love a visit again, so anytime you want to come down, let me know. The flying field isn't far from our house. We could all go, or Phill could take the kids and we'd play jewelry!!

Right now, he's working weekends and off Mon.-Tues.

Thanks, Patti! I'm loving this pendant and want to get some Charoite for ME!

Do we get to see a picture of the earrings? They sound gorgeou!

Sorry to hear about not seeing your puppy-in-law much. They do make life fun. Spike is kind of full of himself, even at 6 yrs. so there's never a dull moment. Our foster dog, Hobie, is much more laid back, and probably going to be a real couch potato in another year. Their personalities are so different!

I look forward to seeing some of your new work!

Thanks Becki,

I called my friend yesterday and told her I'd just pay her for the pendant because I want to keep it! Lol. I don't think she'll go for it. (I may wear it though, before I give it back to her!)
