Wow, beautiful work.
The only trouble with french wire is that after a while, it starts to look dirty and yucky and needs to be re-done, it bends out of shape, body greases get trapped in it and, well, eeww! I have a pearl bracelet that my sister returned to me for restringing for this reason. I've restrung many pearl pieces when I worked in a pearl shop and the french wire was always disgusting.
I still use it as it's very good in certain applications, but I attach it seperately especially in a woven piece. This way I can replace it without too much drama.
That is very pretty. Shirley

I've always suspected that of the french wire.
