I am intrigued by the newer multistrand designs that use chain. Anyone know a good source to buy chain. I will probably go with gold plate or gold tone. Gold filled is a bit too steep for the kind of design experimenting I want to do.

I've found Fire Mountain has the best prices on costume chain but maybe somebody else that uses more would have a better source.
Kathy -- I've always used multi-strands of chain but can wear the plated ones -- I wear the plating off in no time flat and then it is dull. You might consider sterling silver as it is much cheaper than gold or gold-filled.
