*BLUSHHHHHHH*

Thank YOUUUUUUUUUUUU! I do so love my birthday week!!!! And this year, the Big Day is on a weekend! And a Saturday, to boot! I have had quite a year, what with the move and all the business stuff and the surgery late last year. I take VERY little time to just relax and enjoy myself. But I plan to make up for it this weekend. Bwahahahaaaaaaaaa!

Being a HUGE fan of birthdays (everyone's, not just mine) I always have a Big Birthday Week, culminating in the Big Birthday Day. Though I love getting presents, that's not what it's about. From the time I was a little girl, one of the things I could count on is not getting the crap knocked out of me near my birthday. It was my favorite present... LOL! Seriously! So the week of my birthday was EXTRA special!

Of course, that kind of brutality is no longer a part of my day to day life. But I still feel really empowered and safe near my birthday.

That said, I *DO* love presents! So, what's on my Wish List? Funky tights. A tiara. The romance novels wherein the heroine is a glassblower. Some of those balls that look like gumballs that you bang together and they make sparks. A birthday cake. Lots of sweatpants to wear while I'm torching. Cool t-shirts. Glass and art posters for my studio!

OOOH, happiest of birthday weeks then! I always feel good about my bday week...just like that. My turn next week, though. My bday is on a Sunday (which for me is the end of the week), my mom's is on the 19th. We have a tradition where we spend the weekend, where the two of them are closest together, as a family. Next weekend, we're going to my folks' house, and having a party for the two of us Saturday night. It's kinda nice that it's not Thanksgiving this time, so we don't get lost in that.

Anyway...this is all about you..not me, so have a happy one!

Instead of "funky tights", I read "turkey fights".

So that would be the 16th? The day after Tink's which is the day after Jeanne's? It's also Vicki's birthday.

Then your Mom's birthday is the day before Pete's (in '51), which is the day before mine (in '48). No, that's the 23 you mean isn't it, not the 16th.

Then my mother is on the 26th, Thanksgiving for Sooz's birthday is the 27th, and Jerri (Bead Bimbo) is on the 29th.

Not to mention that today we have Marjean and Jonalisa, and tomorrow is Christy.

Happy birthday weeks is right! All of November.
