Sooo...I got my new glasses and decided to tackle the flower pendant from the December 2006 B&B, and I think I have gone wrong somewhere. I have only 10 petals so far, and I need a total of 20. I was wondering if anyone else had made this item - I'm finding that my petals are extremely floppy, and the ones in the picture look rather "all together".

Christine, is the name of the project "petite flower pendants"? Under Step
4, it say to make "the same number of petals as you have beads in the initial ring"... do you have enough beads in your initial ring to accomodate 20 petals? As far as yours being very "floppy", perhaps you could strengthen it by weaving your thread through the beads one more time for strength and stability. Good luck!

Yes, that's the one :-) There are indeed 20 seed beads (10 on each side) of the 8 mm centre bead. I think I might have enough room to make another 10...I'll give it another shot tonight. I didn't want to do too much in case I reached a point of not being able to fix it in case I was doing something really wrong!
