:) We watch it every year. My mom's favorite scene is with the cute little British worm at the beginning.
"Allo" "Did you just say...hello?" "No, I said 'Allo', but that's close enough!"
All the little creatures are just whimsical and wonderful. I heartily recommend it - especially for kids. Although it may be a bit scary for the really little ones.
< David Bowie was my idol for a long time and I guess he still is in a way. Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is my all time favorite! I think I may have just gave away my age. lol
I've been a Bowie fan since my early teens. I have all of his albums through
82 on vinyl. Ever hear the Live at the Tower album? Somewhere in the background my screams (among others LOL) are recorded. I lied to my parents to go to that concert, they'd have had a fit if they knew. It was worth it!!!!
DD just saw him here in Phoenix last week. I had a ticket too, but realized I was going to be too burnt out from the Tucson show, so gave it to another friend of hers. Another nother friend's parents took the shrieking trio, bless 'em. DD was thrilled and now as crazed about him as I was way back when. She actually asked me how to use my turntable to listen to the vintage stuff. LOL Maybe I should drag out my glitter jeans (lovingly stitched with several thousand sequins) for her.
