Jewelry Designer Manager

I'm thinking of buying this software program and was wondering if anyone here uses it. I don't sell my jewelry but I've basically lost control of all my supplies and it would be nice to keep track of them in an organized way. And it would be nice to figure out the actual cost of what I make, though I normally use seed beads so I guess I would need to estimate the cost per bead or something like that. So if anyone here uses it with seed beads I'd be especially interested. Thanks, Ellen

i love the program - with a couple of exceptions. but i've battled with the seed bead problem for a while now, and the best thing i can come up with is "price/foot" or "price/yard" because there is no freakin' way i'm going to count the number of seed beads in one of my pieces!!!!!

I've entered most of my seed beads. If you weigh your beads pre- and post- use, and have them priced per gram (that is, you enter data for cost of the package/hank, then how many weight units in the package), then you can figure out how much you are spending.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Now *that's* a good idea! I don't use that many seed beads, but I think that's the best way to handle them; I'll remember it when I get down to entering that part of my inventory. Thanks!
