Kiln question

What kind of kiln do you recommend for glass fusing and annealing beads?. I have been looking to buy one but am waiting to get more information on the best available for a reasonable price. I was looking at one of the Arrow Springs ones, but want your input first. Roxan

Roxan, I have a JenKen kiln with a digital controller and viewing window which I bought from Marty at Centre de Verre in NH. I use it only for fusing, since kilns which have a viewing window can't have a "doggy dog" to slide in beads on mandrels. JenKen also makes bead kilns. There's loads of information on what type of kiln to buy at

and a link to suppliers as well. Arrow Springs makes excellent kilns as well, I just didn't want to invest that much $$. Patti

The Arrow Springs kilns are exceptional, and so are the EK Miller Fusebox kilns... I have a Fusebox 10, the larger version of the Fusebox II, and I LOVE it.
