Looking For Bodhi Seed Beads

Feb 01, 2004 3 Replies

I'm looking for Bodhi seed beads for making into my own personal mala. Most of the mala's I've tried on lately seem to long, too short, too whatever. Please respond if you are willing to sell these beads. I'd particularly be interested in browsing your web site if the beads are available online.

Thank you very much.

If you have access to a Ficus religiosa (tree), you can collect the seeds yourself. Also, check eBay-- I've seen malas made with them there, and you could always cut one of those apart to remake into a custom fitted one. One rosary selling site had a Catholic rosary made of them, too. Kaytee "Simplexities" on

If these are the grayish seeds also called Job's Tears, I think I know a few places that sell them. They are popular for rosaries.

No, "Job's Tears" are a grain. Bodhi Tree seeds come from a species of ficus (fig). Kaytee "Simplexities" on
